  • Can I take the same type of course more than once and receive CE credits?

    An example of this would be completing an additional 3 CE hours of Ethics resulting in a total of 6 house of Ethics. Yes, you can. The additional 3 CE hours of Ethics would then go towards your General CE requirements. But you cannot take the same course (same NRED CE #) for a second time and receive the additional credits. Prior to submitting your completed CE certificates, verify that you do not have duplicate courses.

  • Where can I go to get the most up-to-date real estate license renewal information?

  • If this is my first renewal, how many hours of education do I need to renew my real estate license?

    If this is your first renewal after obtaining your real estate license, you will need 30 LIVE hours post-licensing of modules A-O. https://red.nv.gov/Content/Real_Estate/Salesperson/First_Renewal_After/ For exceptions to this requirement, read NAC 645.4442(2)

  • How many CE credits do I need to renew my Salesperson real estate license?

    For a Salesperson license, NRED requires 36 credits. Of which, 18 hours must be of LIVE instruction. You are allowed to take a maximum of 18 hours of instruction as internet (on-demand) courses. https://red.nv.gov/Content/Real_Estate/Salesperson/Subsequent_Renewal_After/

  • What is the difference between Live, internet, and ZOOM?

    Per NRED, ZOOM courses are considered live. It’s required that you stay visually on camera and remain engaged throughout the class. ZOOM classes are NOT considered internet courses. Internet courses are to be completed on your own time and without the assistance of an instructor.

  • I also hold an NRED Property Manager permit. What additional courses do I need to complete to renew my PM permit?

    Permit holders must also complete additional CE courses to renew their specific real estate license permit. • Business Broker permit holders must include 3 hours of CE for permit renewal; • Property Managers must include an additional 9 hours of CE for permit renewal. • These additional CE credit hours can go towards your required 18 General credits

  • What if I need to swap-out a CE class for a different type or date for a live class?

    As long as you have not completed the course, we would be happy to make that change for you. Just e-mail us at [email protected] and let us know what you would like to swap-out, give is 72 hours, and we will make that change.
