Notice: Verify NRED Information Directly with NRED

ceASAP provides general guidance about Nevada Real Estate Division (NRED) requirements, procedures, fees, and forms. NRED rules can change at any time, and it is the licensee's responsibility to verify all NRED-related information directly with NRED at red.nv.gov before taking any action.

ceASAP is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or outdated information, and shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from a licensee's reliance on this information. For authoritative answers, please contact NRED directly.

Is ceASAP a Nevada Real Estate Division approved continuing education provider?

Yes. ceASAP.com is a trusted continuing education provider approved by the Nevada Real Estate Division (NRED). Every course we offer carries its own NRED-assigned CE number, confirming it meets state standards.

How does ceASAP structure their 36-Hour CE packages?

ceASAP offers multiple 36-hour packages tailored to your license type and any special permits:

  • By license type: Salesperson, Broker-Salesperson (includes 6-hr Broker Management), and Broker (includes 6-hr Broker Management)
  • By special permit: Property Management (9 PM hours) and Business Broker (3 BB hours)
  • Combo packages available for licensees holding multiple permits

Every package combines self-paced internet CE (up to NRED's 18-hour cap) with Live/Zoom courses, covering all six required CORE topics plus your General CE. Browse all CE packages →

My Nevada real estate license expires this month and I haven't started my CE. Can I finish all 36 hours in time?

Yes — we've got you covered. Pick the 36-hour package that matches your license type and any special permits you hold (Salesperson, Broker-Salesperson, Broker, Property Management, Business Broker, or a combo). Every package includes Live/Zoom classes and self-paced internet courses covering all required Core topics — Agency, Ethics, Law, Risk Reduction, and Contracts — and you can finish everything in as little as one week.

Licensees 65+ with 30+ years of Nevada licensure may qualify for a reduced 12-hour CE requirement — see the full FAQ for details.

How do I create an account on ceASAP?

Visit www.ceasap.com and click "Register." Enter your full name (exactly as it appears on your real estate license), email, phone number, license number, and a secure password. Double-check your details — they'll appear on every completion certificate.

Where can I find the latest information on renewing a real estate license?

The Nevada Real Estate Division (NRED) is the authoritative source: red.nv.gov. There you'll find current statutes (NRS Chapter 645), regulations (NAC Chapter 645), the Open House newsletter, and the list of approved providers and courses.

For Nevada-specific CE alerts and updates, sign up for ceASAP Renewal Alerts and follow our YouTube channel for renewal walkthroughs.

Can I renew my Nevada real estate license online?

Yes. NRED offers online renewal at red.nv.gov. After completing your 36 hours of CE, log in, select Online Services, then Online Renewal, upload your completion certificates, and pay the renewal fee. It's the fastest method and the route most licensees take.

For a step-by-step walkthrough, visit our YouTube channel.

What is the deadline for renewing my Nevada real estate license?

First-year renewal (new licensees): Your initial license is valid for one year, and renewal requires the 30-hour Post-License education completed through live instruction within those 12 months — unless you qualify for an exemption under NAC 645.4442(2) (e.g., previously licensed in another U.S. state, or held a Nevada license in the prior 5 years), in which case you complete the standard 36-hour CE instead.

Subsequent renewals: Your license is valid for two years, expiring on the last day of your birth month. You must complete 36 hours of approved CE each cycle. Verify your exact expiration date using NRED's License Lookup tool at red.nv.gov.

How many continuing education credits do I need to renew my real estate license?

The standard requirement is 36 hours of approved CE every two years. Up to 18 hours may be self-paced internet CE; the remaining 18 hours must be live (in-person or live-streamed via Zoom). Licensees with special permits (Property Management, Business Broker) and Brokers/Broker-Salespersons have topic-specific CE requirements within the 36-hour cycle, and those hours can also count toward the General CE requirement under NRED's overlap rule.

Will ceASAP send my course completion to my state licensing agency?

Yes — ceASAP submits a weekly report of all completions to the Nevada Real Estate Division (NRED), and it typically takes about 10 days for your NRED account to update.

Important: when you renew your license, NRED will only use the certificates you personally submit, not the ones in their internal report. Always upload your own PDF certificates during renewal.

Do I need to supply NRED my completion CE certificates when I renew my real estate license?

Yes. Whether you renew online or in person, have all completion certificates saved as PDFs and ready to upload or attach. NRED only counts the certificates you personally submit at renewal time.

The ceVault CE Portfolio PDF combines every certificate (from ceASAP and any uploaded from other providers) into a single document you can submit to NRED in one step.
