Broker-Salesperson First Renewal - POST Education

LIVE 30 Hours Post-Licensing of modules A-O.Business Broker permit holders must include 3 hours of CE for permit renewal. Property Managers must include an additional 9 hours of CE for permit renewal.

  • Module E -Professional conduct, etiquette and ethics (3 hours)

  • Module H - Agency Relationships (2 hours)

  • Module A - Real Estate Contracts, including qualifying prospects, and the writing and presenting of a purchase agreement (4 hours)

  • Module B -The listing process, market analysis and inspections (3 hours)

  • Module D - Buyer representation, including buyer’s brokerage contracts, fiduciary duties, disclosures, cooperation between agents and new home tracts (3 hours)

  • Module N & G - Negotiation (1.5 hours), Costs of sale, cost sheets and net proceeds of sale (1.5 hours)

  • Module L & M - Escrow, title and closing processes (2 hours), Financing (1 hour)

  • Module J & F - Regulatory disclosures, including disclosures required by federal, state and local governments (1.5 hours), Advertising, including Reg Z, of the Truth in Lending Act of the Federal Trade Commission issued by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, 12 C.F.R. Part 226, fair housing, the multiple-listing service, Internet websites and electronic mail (1.5 hours)

  • Module C - Communication, technology and records management, including time management, goal setting and devising a plan of action (3 hours)

  • Module I, K, &O - Land (1.5 hours), Property management (.5 hours), Tax opportunities and liabilities related to the client (.5 hours)

  • Can POST licensing be done as on-demand internet course?

    No, all POST licensing training MUST be completed in a live setting.

  • When must I give the Nevada Real Estate Division proof of completion of my POST training?

    Proof of completion MUST be submitted to the Division within the first year of license issuance. Please refer to your real estate license expiration date located on your license, or look it up at: https://red.prod.secure.nv.gov/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx

  • Do I need additional education to renew as a Broker-Salesman?

    Yes, in addition to the required POST education, you are also required to complete 6 hours of Broker Management CE education.

  • Do I need additional education if I hold a property manager permit or a business broker permit?

    Yes, Business Broker permit holders must include 3 hours of CE for permit renewal and Property Managers must include an additional 9 hours of CE for permit renewal.
